Oracle Database 10g is Oracle’s revolutionary new grid offering for database administrators, which include breakthrough self-management, storage management, and clustering features. It is designed to relieve system administrators from repetitive, low-value administrative work and provide them with an opportunity to increase their value and expand their technical skills. Oracle database is generally implemented in large-scale organization managing voluminous amount of data and users.

·         Install Oracle Database 10g and configure a database

·         Manage the Oracle instance

·         Manage the Database storage structures

·         Create and administer user accounts

·         Perform backup and recovery of a database

·         Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain a database

·         Configure Oracle Net services

·         Move data between databases and files

An excellent course for anyone who wants to learn advanced skills in Oracle Database, technical Consultant, Application developers, database administrators, system administrators and users who write applications and procedures that access an Oracle 10g database. Learner will be able to administer and maintain the Oracle 10G database.

Pre Requisites:

The student should have knowledge of SQL equivalent to:- Oracle Database 10g : Introduction to SQL and Oracle Database 10gPL/SQL Fundamental. Knowledge of Linux is desirable
